Virgo’s Lounge, ‘Peacock Collection’
U.K-based vintage inspired line Virgo’s Lounge, is quickly becoming a favorite of fashionistas. Founded in 2008 by three Nigerian Virgos, the inspiration in the regal peacock for their new Spring collection, its rich with jewel tones and impeccable beading.
The new Peacock collection, is inspired by all the rich colours that can be found in the beautiful birds feather's, if you want to be on trend (think gucci's jewel colours) but still want to stand out from the crowd check out this wonderful collection.
I'm loving the decadence of this line, it reminds me of the roaring 20's, but with a modern twist
Vlisco Nouvelle Histoire Ankara Lookbook
Vlisco! For their collection of 2011, the AMAZING fashion house decided to take a dip into their rich past. The collection is called "Nouvelle Histoire", which loosely translates to "New History". It is truly amazing to look at . The turban trend is huge here and the styling is on point!!!!!

Out there are a lot of talented african designers in london, and my absolute favourite of this season is Bunmi Koko.
Bunmi Koko is a luxury and ready to wear label founded in 2009 by Nigerian designer Bunmi Olaye. The name of the label literally means “God gave me my other half”, so poetic. Her designs are inspirational and very sheek.
Bunmi Koko is new and still growing, offering luxury couture fashion with contemporary elegance and sophisticated edginess, combined with eclectic and whimsical style of artworks in illustration.
