The 1706 Collection By SIKA

 Sika, is UK-based Ghanaian label (The brand retails in the UK but all garments are produced in Ghana), Sika previous Gemini collection  was infused with clean aesthetic and the flattering cuts of the pieces  . The new collection from Sika is the 1706 Collection. My favorite piece is  the exquisitely cut ankara trench with a bold bow.

“Rebirth L’or” Collection by Toju Foyeh

The collection is a transition from the designer’s previous work and it reflects the growth in the understanding of her brand, and also, with this collection, I see a more defined brand identity. It’s a very wearable collection.

Toju Foyeh describes the collection as  "The L’or Collection is inspired by the golden woman, which I describe as Sexy, Bold and Elegant. This in other words is ‘The Toju Foyeh Woman’. I drew inspiration from a few iconic women for example, Beyonce, Halle Berry and Tiwa Savage"

Virgo’s Lounge, ‘Peacock Collection’

U.K-based vintage inspired line Virgo’s Lounge, is quickly becoming a favorite of fashionistas. Founded in 2008 by three Nigerian Virgos, the inspiration in the regal peacock for their new Spring collection, its rich with jewel tones and impeccable beading. 

The new Peacock collection, is inspired by all the rich colours that can be found in the beautiful birds feather's, if you want to be on trend (think gucci's jewel colours) but still want to stand out from the crowd check out this wonderful collection.

I'm loving the decadence of this line, it reminds me of the roaring 20's, but with a modern twist

Vlisco Nouvelle Histoire Ankara Lookbook

Vlisco! For their  collection of 2011, the AMAZING fashion house decided to take a dip into their rich past. The collection is called "Nouvelle Histoire", which loosely  translates to "New History". It is truly amazing to look at . The turban trend is huge here and the styling is on point!!!!!
